Mitsubishi PAC-US444CN-1 - Thermostat Adapter Interface

The PAC-US444CN-1 thermostat interface allows for the use of a third-party thermostat to control Mitsubishi Electric indoor units. With 3 input terminals, it provides control over fan speed options such as Auto, Medium, High, and custom auto. Through its CN105 connector, the Thermostat Interface allows HVAC thermostats and input/output controllers to control residential or commercial indoor units that can be controlled by the MHK1 controller model. However, it does not work with heat pump control systems. The minimum required terminals are R, C, G, W1, and Y1, with the preferred terminals being R, C, G, W1, W2, Y1, and Y2. Line Voltage Thermostats are not compatible with this interface.

The PAC-US444CN-1 is compatible with nearly all current indoor units offered by Mitsubishi Electric US and allows for the connection of one third-party thermostat to control a single indoor unit, even for MXZ multi-zone systems. It is compatible with the PAC-SE41TS Remote Temperature sensor and MAC-331F, but does not support M-Net & MA Control, and requires a 12VDC power supply for MAC-33IF.

It should be noted that the PAC-US444CN-1 is compatible with Mitsubishi CITY-MULTI (Models after April 2012), M-Series, and P-Series Indoor Units. It has been tested with Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM (with fan speed control) thermostats, and the supported thermostats include Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM with fan speed control.

Each indoor unit requires one Thermostat Interface, and it provides 3 input terminals to control fan speed: High, Medium, and Low. This interface allows for the use of Mitsubishi Electric indoor units to enjoy third-party thermostat features and benefits. It is also compatible with Mitsubishi CITY-MULTI (After April 2012), P-Series, and M-Series Indoor Units.
